Article 1

Purpose and scope

These Terms of Service (hereinafter the "Terms") govern access to and use of the web application EasyBudget, available at my-easybudget.fr.

EasyBudget is a personal budgeting tool that allows its users to track their income, expenses, subscriptions, savings goals and investments.

The service is published by EasyBudget, hereinafter referred to as "the Publisher".


Article 2

Acceptance of the Terms

Use of the EasyBudget application implies full and unreserved acceptance of these Terms. If you do not accept these conditions, you must refrain from using the service.

Article 3

Access to the service

EasyBudget is accessible via any compatible web browser on a computer, tablet or smartphone, at my-easybudget.fr/app.

Availability

The Publisher endeavours to keep the service accessible 24/7. However, interruptions may occur for reasons of maintenance, updates or force majeure. The Publisher cannot be held liable for temporary unavailability.

Technical requirements

Using EasyBudget requires an active internet connection. The Publisher does not guarantee that the service will work correctly on outdated browsers.


Article 4

Account creation and management

Registration

Access to EasyBudget features requires creating a user account with a valid email address. The user receives a secure sign-in link (magic link) each time they log in, with no password to remember.

One account per user

Each user may create only one account. Creating multiple accounts is prohibited.

Security

The user is responsible for keeping access to their account confidential. They must immediately report to the Publisher any fraudulent use they become aware of.

Accuracy of information

The user undertakes to provide accurate information when registering and to keep it up to date.


Article 5

Plans and pricing

EasyBudget offers three levels of access:

Free plan

Access to core features: expense tracking, monthly budget, limited customization. No time limit, no credit card required.

Comfort plan — €2.99/month

Includes all Free plan features, plus: grocery list, to-do list, investment tracking, additional themes, unlimited savings goals.

Premium plan — €4.99/month

Includes all Comfort features, plus: AI assistant, advanced insights, financial simulator, PDF export.

Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe, a secure payment platform. The Publisher does not store any card details.

Cancellation

The user may cancel their subscription at any time from their account settings. Access to premium features remains active until the end of the current billing period.

💳 Prices are inclusive of tax. The Publisher reserves the right to change its pricing with 30 days' notice by email.


Article 6

Personal data

The collection and processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR — EU Regulation 2016/679).

Data entered by the user (transactions, budgets, goals) is strictly personal and is never shared, sold or used for commercial purposes.

The user has, at any time, the right to access, rectify, port and delete their data from their account settings.


Article 7

User obligations

By using EasyBudget, the user undertakes to:

Any breach of these obligations may result in suspension or termination of the account, without notice or refund.


Article 8

Intellectual property

All elements making up EasyBudget — design, logo, source code, text, graphics, themes — are the exclusive property of the Publisher and are protected by French and international intellectual property law.

Any unauthorized reproduction, representation, modification or exploitation of these elements is strictly prohibited.

The user retains full ownership of the data they enter into the application.


Article 9

Limitation of liability

EasyBudget is a tool to help with personal budgeting. It does not constitute financial, tax or legal advice in any way.

The Publisher cannot be held liable for:

Article 10

Termination and account deletion

By the user

The user may delete their account at any time from the application settings. Deletion is permanent and results in the immediate erasure of all personal data, in accordance with the GDPR.

By the Publisher

The Publisher reserves the right to suspend or terminate an account in the event of a breach of these Terms, without notice. Where a paid subscription is active, a pro-rata refund will be issued.

Consequences

Upon account deletion, all associated data (transactions, goals, preferences) is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.


Article 11

Changes to the Terms

The Publisher reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Users will be informed of any substantial change by email at least 15 days before it takes effect.

Continued use of the service after notification constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. If the user disagrees, they may delete their account.


Article 12

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the parties undertake to seek an amicable solution before any legal action.

Failing an amicable resolution, any dispute shall be submitted to the courts having jurisdiction where the Publisher is established.

In accordance with Articles L.611-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, the user may refer the matter free of charge to a consumer mediator.
