My EasyBudget was born from a simple observation: managing your budget shouldn't be complicated.
My name is Erwann, I'm 26 and I work as a laboratory technician in France. Like many people, I would reach the end of the month wondering where my money had gone — without ever really having an answer.
I tried the existing budgeting apps. Some were too complex, others required connecting your banking credentials, and most were poorly suited to the French context (housing benefits, student grants, URSSAF...).
So in 2025, I decided to build My EasyBudget: a simple, beautiful app designed for real people — whether you're a student, an employee or a freelancer.
I wanted an app that anyone could use in 5 minutes, with no training, without connecting their bank, and that really gives a clear view of their finances.
Frustrated by the existing apps, Erwann starts thinking about what the ideal budget app for French users would look like.
Development of the first versions, iterating on the interface and the key features: fixed expenses, variable expenses, dashboard.
First users, first feedback. The app takes shape with savings goals, the schedule and customizable themes.
